Together Groups

Together Groups are an essential part of who we are as a church, and we want to encourage your participation. Following the example offered in Acts 2:42, we hope to fulfill God’s purposes within our church and in our community:

“And they continued steadfastly in the apostle’s doctrine and fellowship and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.”

For believers, growth in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord is a result of following the examples and wisdom found within God’s Word. Examining the Apostles’ doctrine, breaking of bread and prayer begins with our participation. But the issue of fellowship requires believers to share between each other their own personal experience in the things of the Lord.

Although the Lord has graced us with many different kinds of small group studies here over the past years, our Together Groups remain an essential part of church life. Fellowship happens most easily, we have found, in the more intimate setting of a small group gathering in a family home. Almost everyone feels a little intimidated going to a home when you don’t know the people well. But it’s worth the initial effort to press on through that awkward first step when the rewards are so great. We strongly encourage you to find a Together Group to which you relate well and grow in Christ with us there.

We have several Together Groups from which you can choose, accommodating both your schedule and location. While children are welcome at any Together Group, the ones marked with an asterisk (*) are more “kid-friendly”.
